April 2010- Our first river trip of the year!!
Finally we made it out to the river, our place needed some MAJOR TLC, no one had been out there in months!! It was nice to relax, we even spent Easter out there!! It is AMAZING how the Easter Bunny knows just where to find you!! We did a little of everything that trip, rode quads, cruised on the boat, ate too much, haha!! My dad always laughs about how a girl who hated boats so much when I was younger is now a river rat!!
March 2010-Who said my baby girl could turn 10!!!
Wow, how time has gone by!! Carissa is 10, yep, you heard me!!! Trust me, I am not sure how that happened either!! Well, this year Carissa's 4th grade teacher decided to start a "laptop" program at school. Carissa opted out of a birthday party so that she could use all the money toward a laptop! We went to dinner for her birthday to a restaraunt of her choice, and that was it, party over! But hey, she got a laptop out of the deal, not too shabby!!
February 2010-Ocotillo Wells
We went out to Ocotillo Wells for a little off roading with some great friends! The kids had a blast riding their quad, it was actually the first time they fought over whose turn it was to ride. Carissa never showed much interest until this trip, but now she is hooked!! Rick had a great time riding a "mini" motorcycle, so funny to see such a big guy on such a small bike!!

January 2010-Our annual trip to Quartsite
December 2009--Merry Christmas
Once again, we had a great holiday!! My parents were able to come out again, which is always wonderful. We enjoyed Christmas Eve at Great Grandma Dolores', eating tamales and yummy homemade hot chocolate! Christmas Day begins with stockings and presents at our house, then off to Jen's for breakfast (and more presents), then back home for dinner (and more presents). We love surrounding ourselves with family during the holidays!!
Time to Catch Up AGAIN!!!
I know, I know...i have been very neglectful of the blog, poor thing!! I am going to attempt to catch up with 1 pic from every month from November to August...wish me luck!!
