Just the days hanging out at Mom & Dad's!

Although we had fun going places...the days that we just relaxed at Mom and Dad's were nice too! The kids had fun fishing the pond behind my parents house, I did say fishing...not catching!

Fun times hanging out!

Here is a view of our first few days!
We had a great time just hanging out with my parents! We enjoyed riding in my Dad's pond boat, bbqing with family, and just enjoying each others company!

Our Visit to South Carolina

We went to South Carolina in July to visit my parents! We had a great time! Take a look at all of the slide shows...can't fit it all in 1 slide show.. so enjoy the show!

Kids in Bloom!!

Since summer time is rapidly approaching we made a trip to Home Depot to buy some plants for the yard!! Time to see some color in the yard!! The kiddos were so excited..they each picked out a flower that they wanted to plant, and we went straight to work when we got home!!

Tadpoles

Look close and you can see the frog~~

Brandon's friend Jeffrey and his mom took Brandon "Tadpole Hunting"! As many of you know I am not fond on creatures that swim, after all a fish did fly out of the fish tank once and smack me in the rear end!! So when Jeffrey's mom asked I was a little hesitant but let Brandon go. Well he came home that day with about 20 tadpoles. As I looked at them I thought "what did we get ourselves into?" but Brandon was so excited!! I took about 3 or 4 weeks for these little guys to get their arms and legs, really only 1 made it to the full frog stage when I say "they have to go!!" That was when the one frog kept jumping out of the container onto my kitchen counter!!! So we took them back home...all of them...watching 1 grow was enough for me!!

Batter UP!!

Brandon is once again playing baseball and loving it! He was fortunate enough to make it on the same team that he played Winter Ball with. He has fantastic coaches! So far his team is #1 is his division!! Go Redsocks!!

My Little Artist!!

Well those of you who know Carissa know that she is totally into art. Art of any kind that is, she loves to draw, paint, and make jewelry. I was so excited when I found that our local community center offered art classes! I enrolled her and she has been having a blast. She was even moved up to the advanced class which is usually reserved for kids 12 and up! She is a fantastic artist, I am partial of course!!
