Trick or Treat

This year we went over to our friends Brian and Amber's house to go Trick or Treating. They had a little get together for Halloween. All of the kids had a blast Trick or Treating and then watching a few kid friendly Halloween movies like Scooby Doo and Beetlejuice! The adults had a great time too!!

Camping at Vampire Vail Lake!

This was our 2nd year camping at Vail Lake during the month of October. The kids get to dress up and go trick or treating. You know that kids will take any chance to put on their costumes on for any reason, but they actually get candy too, you can imagine their excitement! Last year there was probably twice as many people camping, but I guess that the economy has everyone down, the place was empty. We still had a great time!!

Take me out to the ball game...

Yesterday was Brandon's first baseball game of the season! He was so excited, that was all he could talk about. He did a great job, he played 3rd base and center field. He batted 2 for 2, meaning for those of you(like me) who don't know baseball lingo, he was up to bat twice and hit the ball twice. Much to his disappointment though, he was tagged out at second!! Super job Brandon!!

Mmm...Mmm...Good!

So last night I had my nephews Logan and Gage over to stay the night. Jen and Jason had a wedding to go to and asked me months ago to watch them. We had a great time although I forgot what it is like to have a 2 and 4 year old in the house!! After dinner we made sundaes for desert, complete with waffle cone bowls. Little Gage was the only one to finish the entire thing!!

Fancy Feet!

Carissa is definitley developing her own sense of style! She watches these shows like Hannah Montana and iCarly and then she wants to copy the stars style. Her newest thing is knee high socks. She loves to wear them with shorts and tennis shoes, at first I wasn't too sure, but now I think that she looks so cute. So we ran out to Target today and got her a few more pairs, here is what she picked.

Dave and Allison's Wedding!

Last weekend we went to Dave and Allsion's wedding at La Quita Resort. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time! Congrats Dave and Allison!!

Girls Night Out...

I went out a few weeks ago with my friends to celebrate the fact that my friend Allison is marrying one of Rick's best friend Dave. We had a great time, we started out at a fun Chinese restaurant and then hit a few bars. Big night out for my girlfriends and I as we don't get out much with out the guys. We had a great time!!
